Job Description:
This position is considered entry level but candidate shall have knowledge of: fiber optic network cabling installations, splicing, polishing, cleaving, connecting, fusion splicing, testing, terminations (fusion and mechanical), electro-mechanical connectorization, assembling and documenting; Corning, Exfo and Fluke testers; Cat 6, Coax and fiber optic cabling; fiber and copper maintenance: emergency restoration, inspection services, troubleshooting, fiber documentation, industry standards and installation techniques.
Job Requirements:
An active Secret level Security Clearance is required or the ability to obtain an interim clearance before start date.
Fiber Optic Certification is a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
