Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) is currently looking to fill an Acquisition/Procurement Specialist position working in China Lake, CA.
Responsibilities:This position assists in providing acquisition and procurement support. Assists in analyzing policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems for acquisition programs. May assist with developing statements of work, potentially with multiple suppliers, to procure goods and services in support of program initiatives. Identify the recommended list of items for procurement, develop a BOM, identify potential vendors - taking into consideration performance factors including vendor past performance, vendor ability to deliver required material on time to designated locations, and cost. Propose procurement solutions that bring best value to the government. Track and report status of shipments and update government stakeholders. Monitor vendor performance metrics to identify Best Practices and Lessons Learned information for subsequent material procurements. Process all procurement requests and other procurement related documents. All procurements will be captured in a SharePoint database. Apply Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) methodologies and ensure the procurement process is efficient, traceable, and within all FAR guidelines. Experience with material procurement, tracking, processing; procurement of classified and/or unclassified materials.
Job Requirements :
Requires at least two years of related experience.
Previous experience using a SharePoint database is preferred.
Prior DoD experience is a plus.
Requires an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain an interim before start date.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
