SWS Operations Systems Engineer supporting Trident II Launcher System testing at Launch Test Facility NAWCWD China Lake, Ridgecrest, CA. Duties include facility activation. Provide technical direction during evaluation and
qualification testing of Launcher Subsystem for Ohio Replacement Program (ORP). Provide guidance and training to government civilians and/or contractors on Launcher installation, testing, and repairs. Provide guidance and training
to personnel on Support Equipment operation and maintenance. Develop and implement test procedures. Diversity in knowledge of engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, materials). Analyze equipment failures to determine
cause and recommend corrective action. Review documentation and drawings for accuracy. Advise Site Manager/Lead Engineer of problem areas and recommend solutions to problems. Prepare status reports and daily log of tasks/tests/repairs
accomplished. Periodic location reassignments maybe required.
Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant experience
BS Degree required
PC skills required
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
Must work well with people and be flexible
Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain a secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent SSBN Navy service experience highly desired

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
