Junior Technical Writer

The Digital Precision Strike Suite group is seeking a skilled, motivated, disciplined and detail oriented Junior Technical Writer.


Essential Job Functions:


Work closely and communicate well with engineers, developers, test and product integrity team members in order to produce high quality product documentation and training materials.


Produce documentation that is both audience specific, high quality and standards compliant.


Work closely with other team members to develop an in-depth subject matter understanding of required topics.


Create, edit and update style guides and templates.


Track, version and maintain product documents using appropriate tools.


Create effective presentations for training, business development and external use.


Support multiple assignments across two separate teams.


Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.


High school? diploma with 8 years of relevant experience or an Associates degree with?2 years of relevant experience?preferably with?course work in writing or communication.


Must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance for duration of employment.


Working knowledge and experience in the handling and distribution of classified material.


In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point.


Excellent oral and written communication skills.


Desired Skills:


Experience with document reviews using Adobe Acrobat, Code Collaborator, or other collaborative review tools.


Experience with Atlassian tool set.


Previous government / DoD experience.


Experience in a regulatory and security sensitive environment.


Previous technical writing experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
