Senior Principal Systems Analyst (3054-183)

We are looking a Senior Principal Systems Analysts with strong leadership skills that can help our team modernize a suite of web applications by applying Software Development Life Cycle and Agile best practices; using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Object Oriented Programming/Design (OOP or OOD).
Job duties include:
Analyze and evaluate a suite of applications and develop a plan to modernize the code into reusable components that are easily maintainable.
Mentor/work with a team of less-experienced analysts to implement the modernization plan.
Write/update functional requirements and software design specifications.
Perform quality assurance review of functional requirements and software design specifications.
Coordinate with the client to define problems; determine data availability; report requirements; and resolve system design problems.
Create logical data models based on functional requirements.
Develop analytical tools for use in the design and redesign of systems.
Analyzes detail systems factors; including input and output requirements; information flow; hardware and software requirements; and reliability characteristics.
Maintain current knowledge of web development software technologies; relational database design; UML; OOP; and SDLC
Define web application architecture (with dynamic component composition, data navigation, business processes)
Design re-usable web components (service-oriented architecture SOA )
Analyze business requirements and lead the design, architecture, and implementation of highly scalable and flexible web applications using modern technologies and asynchronous programming
Security Clearance REQUIRED: Must already possess and be able to maintain, at minimum a SECRET Security Clearance.
Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience with information systems.
Experience with .NET with C#; Java; PL/SQL with Oracle; XHTML and JavaScript.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles; methods; and techniques used in web software development.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
