Business Intelligence Developer

Job Description Develop schemas to support organizational data comprising resource, effort, and operational data. Essential job functions: Apply techniques including ETL/ELT to transform raw data for use in an enterprise data warehouse. Develop and apply techniques to identify correlations amongst organizational data. Schematize data from assets and processesassociated with naval aviation. Apply data analysis techniques to achieve understanding in unfamiliar and new data domains. Learn and apply new technologies from the fields of data science and data analytics. Understand and applysecurity and data governance controls for business information solutions. Mentor developers in the use and application of business intelligence data processing techniques. Utilize analytic interface tools and teach others. Understand the Application Development Lifecycle and utilize Agile framework, techniques and tools. Provide metrics reporting as needed. Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, executive leadership, stakeholders, and developers. Possess an extreme attention to detail, define effective testing approaches, and produce high-quality deliverables. Prioritize tasking and meet deadlines. Learn and think outside of the box. Follow all policies and procedures governing the secure operation and authorized use of DoD information systems. Job Requirements Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or completion of an advanced certification for data science or business intelligence with 12 years of relevant experience. Will also consider an Associate degree in a technical field with 14+ years of relevant experience or high school diploma plus 20+ years of relevant experience. Obtain and maintain a Security Clearance. Development of solutions using least two of the following or comparable tools: Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, BusinessObjects, SpotFire, SQL Server Reporting Services. Standard Query Language (SQL) experience creating tables, views, stored procedures, and complex queries SQL Server Integration Services or a comparable ETL platform developing extraction, transformation, and loading processes. SQL Server database design and development with Microsoft SQL Management Studio. Application programming experience in at least one of the following: (Microsoft C#, Java). Experience with a data analytics language such as 'R' or Python. Experience with a scriptinglanguage (PowerShell preferred). Experience with Microsoft Access including VBA. Knowledge of Naval aircraft platforms including subsystems, telemetry, instrumentation, and weapons. Experience developing and loading SQL Server Analysis Services cubes. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
